Stephen Lloyd has submitted an Early Day Motion in order to advance the argument for a debate on holding a Royal Commission on Policing!!
Good Morning Stephen.
Many thanks for your email and for the update regarding the Early Day Motion.
I have an appointment booked through Kathy to see you at 1pm this coming Friday, the 19th October. I have told Bob and hopefully he will be joining me.
My son Darren phoned me to say that he had met with you!
I look forward to seeing you next week.
Kindest regards,
Kevin.

Subject: Re: Petition regarding the call for the holding of a Royal Commission
Good morning Kevin. Just to give you an update now Parliament is back. I tabled an Early Day Motion a few days ago - see here:
https://www.parliament.uk/edm/2017-19/1656
- and am now planning to build up a head of steam in Parliament.
The numbers of MP's who sign it will grow, which will help build momentum for your Royal Commission idea. Next step, is I think it would be useful for you and I to meet for a chat; perhaps bring Bob along as he’s a constituent? We can then brainstorm about how we can keep up the momentum behind your petition both locally and nationally. I’ve a few ideas I’d like to run by you.
I have copied in my diary sec, Kathy Bond and David Edwards (job share), so a slot can be fixed for you to come into my office in Eastbourne.
All the best,
Stephen
PS: nice to meet your son (EB Academy) the other day!
