As I write this message, the number of signatures to this petition exceeds 127,000!!! That is imply amazing and I cannot praise too highly all of those who have signed to push ahead this critical issue.

It is my intention now to take this through the relevant channels in order to have the matter debated in Parliament as the number of signatories exceeds the 100,000 required in order for this to happen.

This will NOT be well received I am sure! However, I and many other serving and retired officers firmly believe that a Royal Commission is required in order to have policing thoroughly reviewed and then developed in order to suit the needs of the public of this country for the foreseeable future.

Please do continue to sign and share this petition because this Government and Parliament more generally need to wake up and understand the crisis that our once great policing service now finds itself in.
