Formal letter to @ASDA sent by AMAZING MP @PaulaSherriff about their #PeriodPrices - TY!!

Hello amazing people!!!! So far we’ve managed to persuade most superstores to lower their period prices, covering tampon tax until it’s officially axed so that we don’t have to! We’ve WON the likes of Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Lloyds Pharmacy, Waitrose, Superdrug and many more. Yet, ASDA has yet to join us... Our tampon-tax-ending heroooo Paula Sherriff MP sent a formal letter to ASDA today, demanding they explain why they have failed to lower their prices to the huge benefit of millions. We expect a response soon! This, combined with the pressure we have already put on the superstore, will hopefully convince them to implement the change. Period! Thank you to everyone who has campaigned, tweeted, protested (including those kick ass people involved in the demo last week - pictured below!!) blogged and organised! You’re amazingggg!
