GOOD FOOD BUT BAD TREATMENT, INSECURITY AND CRUELTY

For the last few months, the permanent ashram dogs have been regularly fed thanks to the attention and generosity of some caring dog lovers among the western canteen staff. Despite this fact, the real life situation of those dogs remains critical. Daily, the ashram visitors can witness wounds and swellings on dogs' bodies as those are regularly hit with metal sticks and chased away out of the ashram. Systematically and persistently, the ashram authorities have made most of the friendly and good permanent dogs disappear, and the few remaining ones are now living constantly in fear. Regardless of our calls and actions, a real solution as outlined in our previous document has not been considered yet less implemented by the ashram managers.
