Hello supporters of Australian veterans and the No More Zombie Veterans campaign,

I’m Derek, a RAAF veteran from the Iraq War. After years of service, I faced PTSD and found that 17 years of heavy medications left me foggy and detached—like a ‘zombie.’ Medicinal cannabis changed that, with science showing it calms the brain’s stress response, improves sleep, and softens traumatic memories for a clearer, healthier path forward. Sadly, the DVA doesn’t yet support it for veterans with PTSD or TBI. That’s why in 2021 I launched No More Zombie Veterans—to advocate for a natural, effective option that restores lives.

Due to my Iraq injuries I am not able to work and so far I have financed this campaign by myself, but now I really need your help to keep the fight going.
