WHAT TO SAY (Share your own story and interest in this important issue:)
- My name is XXXX, I live in XXXX and speeding is dangerous.
- Lower the speed limit on La Jolla Boulevard and in every neighborhood.
- Slower streets are safer and quieter for everyone.
- Drivers, pedestrians and bike riders all benefit when speed limits are lower.
- Our communities are not race tracks.
- Too many people are injured and killed by speeding cars and trucks.
- Other cities like Los Angeles have already used AB43 to lower speed limits.
- We can beat L.A. in Petco Park but they are beating us for safer streets with their swift implementation of AB43.
- Don't strike out on this opportunity to make San Diego safer.
- Lower the speed limit near key destinations like Tourmaline Beach and Surf Park, on our residential streets, in school zones, near senior-serving facilities and in commercial districts.
- Thank you.
