Hi supporters, there has been an update on the proposed pedestrian crossing on Kingstown Road/ Moorville Drive. The council have spent 2 years preparing a plan to install a puffin crossing but have today voted against installing it! I was not invited to the decision meeting nor informed about it happening by the council. 
I would like to stage a small peaceful protest at this decision this Wednesday 24th April at 6pm. The aim is to cross the road slowly together as a collective and The Cumberland News have said they would like to include it on the front page of the paper this week. I would really appreciate your support on this, since we all already signed a petition with over 350 signatures it seems that the council need a louder message so that they listen to us, the voters! Meet on Kingstown Road near the Gosling Bridge at 6pm this Wednesday. Spread the message!
