Last week, during Mayor's Question Time, Sadiq Khan was asked about why TfL is not listening to thousands of people who have said they don't want the outer London car parks built on.

His answer was disappointing and included the retort that individual local councils are responsible for approving the developments or not. Obviously, removal of outer London's park and ride facilities is a pan-London issue, so it's not fair to expect people to actively seek out each council's consultation in order to object.

Local councils merely consult some of the nearest neighbours to the scheme and we aren't aware of any council that actually bothered to contact the car park users. 

Cockfosters station is the next in the firing line to be built on.

The planning committee meeting where the fate of Cockfosters will be decided is going to take place in December/January.
