Don't use real penguins at London's Queens Skate Dine Bowl ice rink on Saturday January 19

5 Humboldt penguins are supposed to stay in the centre of London's Queens Skate Dine Bowl ice rink on Saturday January 19 from 4pm to 8pm. They're part of the event planned to raise funds for bird conservation charity.

We're supposed to protect and care for wildlife, but while this is a purpose, we shouldn't act against any animal's safety and well being.
We're proud of our compassionate and civilized approach to animals and London should represent that approach.
It is banned in the UK for animals to be in a circus and it should apply to any form of entertainment. We strive to protect them from being used this way, which can be and usually is equally stressful. It is not acceptable, sending a wrong message and a bad example to the public.
We still want to raise funds for the bird conservation charity and promote conservation.
There are much better ways to do so, one of them could be a custom built penguin mascot. Everyone loves them: the person animating the mascot interacts with people, poses for photos and selfies - it's fun.
