So many of you signed this Change.org petition after feeling a sense of anger on the morning of 24 June as we realised Britain would be exiting the EU. In the last two years, there's been a sense of powerlessness, but now we have a chance to fight back.
Theresa May’s deal is going to be rejected by Parliament. Then MPs are going to decide what happens next, and there’s a good chance there could be a people’s vote which means we can reject Brexit and remain in the EU.
To make this happen, the folks at Best for Britain have built a canvassing app that means you can send an email to your MP in just seconds to tell politicians there is real demand for a people's vote on the final Brexit deal:
I know that if we are allowed the final say on the Brexit deal, the British public will reject the government's terrible Brexit deal and back remaining in the EU. Many leading Brexiteers have said as much in public. The former Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab said staying in the EU would be preferable than the government’s bad Brexit deal.
This week, when you are with your friends and family you can quickly get them to email their MP using the app on your phone.
Many politicians back a people's vote, yet too few have said so in public because they need to know the public are on side. If we can show them that the public believe giving the people a final say is the right way to resolve Brexit, they will support a new vote on Brexit.
