Trade with the Single Market is worth £11 billion per week to the British economy, or almost £9,000 per person per year. But Theresa May said yesterday she would put all that at risk in order to cut immigration. Her interview with Sky’s Sophy Ridge set out the increasingly hard-line position the government is taking on Brexit negotiations. The pro-Brexit group Change Britain says that every £1 billion of annual trade is worth more than 19,000 jobs. If that is true, it means that Theresa May is putting 11.2 million jobs are at risk, and that thousands of jobs could be lost in every parliamentary constituency in the country. We’re urging you to join Save The Single Market this week as we are about to do a mass lobby of parliament to reassure the vast majority of MPs that want us to stay in the Single Market that the public is on their side. Please, sign up this week so we can get the message out that a Hard Brexit must not happen: http://savethesingle.market/ Cheers, James
