An imaginary herbarium, like a souvenir brought back from an ancient journey

The Black Indies is a novel by Jules Verne, published in 1877.In this story, the author draws a parallel between the mythical wealth of the Indies, eastern or western, and the new wealth of the industrialized regions of Europe, founded on coal, during the industrial revolution. He also opposes this new industrial Scotland to the old Scotland of Celtic legends.
The rehabilitation of the Indian Pavilion aims to offer an imaginary herbarium that cultivates taste and diversity, on Saint-Ideuc district and then across Saint-Malo greeneries and public parks .
