Suspended Auburn Councilors are able to receive legal support (during the public inquiry) covered by Council's Civic Expenses Policy and funded by Council's Insurance Policy. Auburn LGA ratepayers deserve better than this! The Auburn community should be able to take out an insurance policy against the neglect caused by Council instead of Councilors being covered to fight the State Government.
