Auburn Council has shown repeatedly that it cannot be trusted especially with a high number of developers and real estate agents making self-serving decisions. Corruption and conflicts of interests need to end in councils as local governments are meant to be honest and transparent agencies for the community's interests. We call on the NSW State Government, Premier Mike Baird, Local Government Minister Paul Toole,Opposition Leader/Auburn MP Luke Foley and the Office of Local Government to: Ban property developers and real estate agents from being Councillors We are local residents fed up with the corruption, conflict of interest and lack of action to reform local government particularly in Auburn. It's time to act now to Ban Developers & Real Estate Agents (and their mates) from Council.
