Have Sabaton reconsider its slot-machine game.

The Issue

What follows is a highly personal take on the above subject which I hardly expect everyone to share, but I ask you to keep an open mind and if you find yourself disagreeing, to keep a civil tone in any discussion.

Sabaton is to me, as I'm sure it is to many of us out there, a fantastic addition to our everyday lives with their great music, friendly attitude as well as their dedication and effort to preserve history from all over the world.

We frequently see their contributions in this manner, for example in the Sabaton History YouTube channel, the fundraising effort for the Heugh Battery museum in England, the list of the great things they have done is hardly short and it'll only get longer from here.

So then, I find myself wondering: Why, with all of the wonderful, constructive things that Sabaton's achieved, why cobble together a slot game? Unlike everything else that they have and continue to do which adds to the general life experience of hundreds of thousands if not millions of people around the globe, it's an obvious fact that gambling only benefits an infinitesimally tiny percentage of those who partake in it, and add nothing to the vast majority of its players.

Therefore, we all ask, and I personally implore you Sabaton, to reconsider this slot game. You have demonstrated with moves such as the collaboration with Wargaming and Rocksmith that you're willing to take on other sources of revenue that, again, adds something for us all.

The fact that this, this sentence right here, is associated with my most beloved band of all time, one that's been with me for over half my life, almost every single day since Primo Victoria was released, is deeply wounding to me:

"The publishers of this site, Sabaton or any of its partners are not liable for any loss of money, damages or negative consequences related to playing the Sabaton game or any other Casino activity, independently if it is a Casino listed here or not."

This shouldn't be what Sabaton is or stands behind, in my opinion. Sabaton shouldn't be a source of damage that can, and statistically probably will, sabotage or even ruin the lives of some people, those with addiction problems or gambling disorders.
