Setting off of fireworks/pyrotechnics in many areas in our beautiful country South Africa results in tragedy for many people and communities. Fireworks/pyrotechnics is not environmentally friendly. We are custodians of our world, planet earth, look out the window, this is the only one we have.Animals and pets are severely traumatized and harmed, they are defenseless and so are many people and cannot voice their opinion, therefore we will stand up and speak out for them. Vast landscapes are set alight and homes burned to the ground due to fireworks getting out of hand and gone wrong at random fireworks events and individual displays.
