CONFIRMED: Ryanair now carry AEDs on all flights...

I am very pleased to confirm that Ryanair now carry AEDs on all their flights. A flight attendant very kindly allowed me to photograph her with the on-board AED on a flight last Thursday. She told me that cabin-crew staff are delighted with the change of policy as they are convinced it will save lives. She also confirmed that cabin crew had been given AED and CPR training as a part of the AED implementation process. Incredibly, a fellow passenger saw me photographing the flight attendant with the AED and told me that her mother's life was saved the previous week on board an aircraft by a flight attendant using an AED. Brilliant!! A huge thank you to everyone who supported this online petition and to all those who campaigned for this change in other ways, including the BBC who ran a good feature on the whole subject on 'Rip Off Britain, aired on January 4th 2016. As I have now seen an AED on a Ryanair flight for myself, the principal objective for this petition has been achieved. Thanks to your tremendous support, I can now close the petition. I will, however, continue to challenge issues or policy that are not in people's interest and that need to change, and hope you will too. Have a great 2016!
