After 40 years of tree growth!

After 10 years of demands!

After months of sustained public outcry!

Tuesday is OUR chance to voice, in one unified voice, our shared concerns over the wanton removal of 100s of trees along Melnea Cass Blvd. DEMAND THAT THE TREES OF MELNEA CASS BOULEVARD BE SAVED. This is a public health issue, an environmental justice issue, a racial equity issue, a climate change issue.

The Boston City Council’s Committee on Planning, Development & Transportation will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 4:30pm. PLEASE JOIN and voice your concerns! If you can't join, you can write a letter demanding that these trees be saved and that Melnea Cass Blvd be kept as a greenway for future generations of residents.

This hearing will be held virtually. Written testimony may be sent to the Committee or staff email (below) and will be made a part of the record and available to all Councilors.
