In high school the two biggest awards are getting an education and finding your identity as a member of the society . Students at Chicago Academy feel like they have no freedom in expressing themselves in a society that promotes self-expression and individuality.The problem is that the cost of expressing oneself and being an unique individual is horrible,students should not give up their constitutional rights of expression at school.  In Chicago Academy, many of the staff members, our role models, have tattoos and are visible. Tattoos are an form of art and self expression. My question to you is “ How is tattoos appropriate for school but ripped jeans are not? Both tattoos and ripped jeans are a part of art and self expression.
