Polling shows the overwhelming majority of the public oppose the practice*. - Has Section 3 of The Hunting Act 2004** i.e. 'A person commits an offence if he knowingly permits land which belongs to him to be entered or used in the course of the commission of an offence under section 1.' been taken into account? Especially since at the full Rutland County Council meeting, Chief Executive Helen Briggs read a statement on behalf of Council Leader Terry King declaring that the Hunt breaking the law is nothing to do with the Council.
