Mrs. Shannon Williams was drama teacher at Smyrna High School for about 20 years. She served as a mentor to many of her students. She was kind and funny. 

She also oversaw great productions at Smyrna High School plays like Tom Sawyer, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and organized the annual dance show. 

She meant a lot to her students. She deserves a great honor. That is why I think the Smyrna High School auditorium should be named for her.
