Following a response from Ruth George MP, it is safe to say that common sense, for the most part, prevails. For now, we should keep informed of Ruth's website for any further action and make sure that no one you know is purchasing tickets for an event that will not be allowed to go ahead. Thank you all for your overwhelming support for this petition and let's continue to work towards a future where, to quote a couple of the signatories, we ban the practise of throwing flaming litter into the wind.
