Dear friends! Thanks to support of many of you, we have managed to obtain enough resources to open the first permanent Shelter for LGBTQI persons in Russia! Having learnt the bitter lessons of brutal crackdown in Chechnya, we are opening this Shelter as a safe space and a place for urgent relocation of LGBTQI people in emergency situations. The Shelter will be operating from 1 January 2018. However, we are still looking for additional resources since so far we only managed to ensure the operation of the Shelter for the first several months.
