Today, as reported by RTE, we found out how our RTE TV license fee is wasted. Just take a look at how much we, Irish tax payers pay RTE presenters. After paying tax on our own salaries we then have to pay another RTE TV LICENCE TAX of €160.00 to fund RTE’s outrageously high salaries.

In 2019 - the most recent year revealed - Ryan Tubridy again earned €495,000, with Ray D'Arcy second on €450,000 and Joe Duffy in third place with €392,494 according to RTE. More info on all the top earning presenters can be found here. https://www.rte.ie/news/2021/0120/1190981-rte-on-air-earners/
