It is because of YOUR continued support we had the opportunity of going to Number 10 with over 103,509 signatures in support of our plea and for that NO words can express our gratitude and love to each and every one of you. The family Along with our mother had that opportunity yesterday on national TV (BBC and ITV) to say just that, so again if you missed it, "A BIG" thank you to every single one of you reading this updated post. http://www.itv.com/news/westcountry/2016-10-28/family-of-terminally-ill-grandmother-campaign-against-her-deportation/ Please continue to support us, as the situation is far from being resolved and now the debat will take place in parliament hence we just need your continued support in sending emails to your local PM's, Theresa May and Amber Rudd, as they are the people who will be debating this request for compassion for our dying mother, they will need to grant us compassion in allowing our mother, granny and friend to many to remain in the UK with her family who love and care for her. Our petition is now in the hands of those who can make a change in our situation and with continued pressure from the public this will allow that right decision to be made, where life can be preserved for the little time our mother has left with us, as well as allowing us to keep to our social responsibility in taking care of our mother in her time need. Yesterday was tough on our mother, as she was unable to do the ITV live show at 14h45, as she was so exhaughsted she simply fell to sleep in her wheel chair, which was an occraunce in front of Number 10, as well, which is due to her strength levels not being what they use to be due to her sickness. She was on the train to London for 06h30 and we only arrived home in Bristol for 19h45, so a long day for a frail lady. We are trusting that our God will open doors where man has closed them and we ask for your continued support and prays, as we head to the local police station again on Thursday for our 13h00 appointment, which is our standard 3 monthly visits (use to be monthly but to due our mother ill health, they have changed it to every three months) We as a family don't know what to expect on Thirsday, as the last meeting they took finger prints and we had to sign visa forms for them to arrange for our mothers departure, so we beleive they will be handing us our instructions to take our mother back to South Africa, which they will give us 72 hours notice. If this is the case and we do not carry out the instructions within the 72 hour period they could arrest her and take her to a detention cnt ready for deportation. This is worse case scenario and despite our visit to Number 10, their stance will be that the visa has been declined and our mother is now in breach of her visa application and must return back to South Africa, so it is still an ongoing issue we need continued support for. Please continue to support us by sending a direct plea to your local MP and then to Secretary of State "Amber Rudd" @ amber.rudd.mp@parliament.uk Visit our Face Book page and like it and pass it on to family friends @ www.facebook.com/saveirenenel If instruction are given on Thursday to take our mother back to South Africa we will need to engage with a legal team on that day, so again If you would like to contribute financially in assisting us to take this further please visit our GoFundMe page @ www.gofundme.com/289kq We as a family appreciate ALL your continued support, which keeps us fighting and moving forward in doing what is right for our mother. We will keep you all posted on Thursday on what took place, so please keep us in your thoughts and prays, as this is a very stressful time for my mother and wife, as she has been detained once with them preparing to send her to a detention centre in London. PS If there are any funds left over after our journey in seeking compassion for our mother and being allowed to take on our social responsibility our mother would like it ALL donated to the local NHS Dialysis unit in Bristol. Regards Derek, Desree, Irene and family
