Freedom of movement of people  is one of the four freedoms of the single market, the others being freedom of movement of goods, services and capital.

Over 2.3 m EU expats are building their lives in the UK and contributing to the British economy. Over 2.2 m British expats live in other EU member states.

They are able to do so thanks to their rights to freedom of movement in the EU. 

Signing the petition will send a clear message to Government and Opposition parties, telling them to respect the right to free movement within the EU and to desist from lobbying to change the EU treaties to restrict freedom of movement.
