Can’t believe there’s nearly 5000 of you who’ve supported this petition! You’re the reason this will happen. No word yet on when exactly the Soft Opt Out system called “Max’s Law” after 10 year-old Max. He received a heart transplant thanks to an amazing family’s decision to donate the organs of 9 year-old Kierawhen she suddenly died. But I will let you know. As I write this 6407 are dying to life on the transplant waiting list. 1131 people have received a transplant since 1st April this year which is great. If transplants continue at this rate we’ll have completed 3858 by 31st March next year. This however leaves 3,680 people waiting to who are currently on the list in 9 months time! This must change. Please keep bringing up this topic to raise awareness, and SHARE, SHARE, SHARE this petition. Thank you again, you’ve actively made this new system possible. Lucy xx
