Today it is autism awareness day, our society has moved into 2016. Autism should be understand better and more accepted in our society, however there are still over 3000 autistic children/young men are locked up in the mental health hospital ,Sadly they don’t have their human rights to go back home for family life, They don’t have their education rights, they are often abused by the ATUs, they didn’t get right care and support , they are often deteriorated in ATUs. The British government has failed their promise to bring them into community after the scandal of Winterbourne view. Currently there are still similar scandals happened very often, some of the young people like Laughing boy Connor and Thomas even died in the ATUs.
