South Cambridgeshire MP Andrew Lansley told the BBC on 3 December that Chancellor George Osborne had pledged an additional £8m to support IWM's education services. Prospect understands that this does not include IWM's library. Prospect negotiator Andy Bye said: "While we welcome this reprieve for some of the museum's education services, the battle is not won until IWM's precious library is saved."
