The Issue
Despite public outcry and the weight of scientific opinion, the killing of badgers is underway once again.
Did you know that 1,861 badgers have already been killed in the pilot culls? Between 7.4 per cent and 22.8 per cent of those badgers were still alive after five minutes.
It is no longer the Owen Patterson Badger Cull. It is the Elizabeth Truss Badger Cull. It is not our nation which has failed us. It is our own elected government.
This is completely unacceptable. Our approach is to be in the field with the animals, but right now we need your voice to tell Mrs Truss to reinstate the Independent Expert Panel (IEP).
