Essex police have replied to Human Right's Campaigner and Jeremy Bamber supporter Peter Tatchell's letter:

Peter Tatchell wrote to the Chief Constable of Essex Police, Stephen Kavanagh, on the 5th April 2017 requesting that he provide all the undisclosed evidence to Jeremy Bamber's solicitor.
Below is Peter Tatchell's letter and also the letter he received in reply from Essex police - a tacit admission that they have withheld evidence and a reiteration of their refusal to voluntarily disclose it:

DCI Stuart Smith, Serious Crime Directorate, Essex Police's Letter:

Please note the following:
- The letter omits to mention Essex Police’s refusal to the CCRC in 2012 after they requested disclosure of Jeremy’s alibi log for forensic testing.
- Continued denial of Essex Police’s contempt of court orders from 2001/2 requiring full disclosure.
- The police letter ‘brags’ about receiving praise from the appeal court, despite having duped three judges into believing police had complied with court orders.
- Detective Chief Inspector Smith ignores evidence sent to police by the campaign and Peter Tatchell proving Essex Police did not fully disclose material.
This is not acceptable and is basically a delaying tactic to ensure Jeremy Bamber does not receive the withheld evidence he is entitled to or proper justice in a country that prides itself on it's police and judicial system.
Thank you for your continued support.
