In light of the needless murder of Francis and now poor Missy who is at serious risk, needlessly...we the public DEMAND that as organisations who regularly receive plentiful public donations, that both Battersea and the RSPCA seek independent legal advice rather than relying solely on your own legal teams who clearly lack in knowledge with the current legal options to save dogs like this. We the public have a right to expect more from your organisations who pretend to want to fight BSL yet see you sit back and kill the dogs affected by this ludicrous legislation!!!!

When you have the co- operation of experienced Solicitor's who have saved dogs like this before, however you refuse to work with them, this is unacceptable!

We, also, demand that you stop using individual dogs as PR stunts to gain more public donations when in fact you have no intention of saving these dogs...their fate is sealed from the start!

In addition, rather than relying on the police who are not adequately trained to assess these type of dogs, we the public, demand that independent assessors are used as a secondary opinion.

The money you invest in your PR stunts could be put into saving dogs like Frances and Missy! Spend the money on assessment and exemption not on PR and paying a legal team who cannot fight to save their previous lives!!
