A man is charged with the murder of 58-year-old Sandra Popovic who was kidnapped from a Sydney suburb early this week. Sandra's body has not been found. Her son is charged.
Sandra is the 31st Australian woman killed this year. Last year we lost 79 women to violence - the year before 106 women were killed. Police confirmed Sandra last spoke to family on Monday and was planning to meet her son in Winston Hills. Her car was found in the suburb on Tuesday.
