A 51-year-old man allegedly killed a woman, aged in her 70s, in O’Connor, ACT, on May 14. He is known to her and police say they will charge him soon. She is the 25th Australian woman killed this year.
Last year we lost 79 women to violence - the year before 106 women were killed.
