A woman and two men were killed overnight in Rosemeadow, NSW. A man known to them is in police custody. The female victim is the 23rd Australian woman lost to violence this year. Last year we lost 79 women to violence - the year before 106 women were killed.
Police and paramedics were called to a home around 1.30am this morning. They found the bodies of a woman, aged in her 60s, and a man, aged in his 20s. A 64-year-old man was critically injured and taken to hospital. He could not be saved. 
A 32-year-old man was taken into custody an hour later. Police say he is related to the victims. The Homicide Squad is investigating.
