Due to a dog breeder exhibitor trying to hide how many animals she had she went to many vet practices to register single animals. We took back one of her owned dogs into us in a horrific veterinary state , she refused to provide veterinary records or details of any practice she was registered with. She is a KC ABS BREEDER, a paid up accredited member of the acclaimed Kennel Club Scheme. Her owner complained to the KC who did nothing at all. This dogs has many complex veterinary issues some caused by the husbandry it was held in, some cruelty and abuse. We want every veterinary practice to share records and all owners mandatory register with a surgery and have those records held on a national database. The KC should also remove ANY member of the ABS if they attempt to hide the amount of dogs they have by using different surgeries.This breeder has still not had any sanction brought against her or any of her breeding partners by the KC. She placed the life of this dog in peril , she failed to declare any veterinary issue and a vets actions potentially saved this dogs life ...... Transparency is needed with all members of the KC ABS , anything less fails dogs and their welfare !
