Turn the site of Grenfell Tower into a memorial garden for those that lost their lives!

After the unimaginable horrors of the Grenfell Tower fire in the early hours of the 14th June 2017, and with a death toll that some say could be over 100, we need to make sure this site is kept sacred, as a reminder of those men, women and children that lost their lives due to a council that put Greed before Need.
We live in a wonderfully vibrant city with people from every corner of the world. I grew up only a few minutes from Grenfell in a very similar block, where my mother still resides, and it is our duty to make sure that this loss, of life, of our community and of our faith in the actions of our local government be fresh in our hearts and minds so that it may never happen again!! EVER!
I propose that the immediate site of Grenfell House and it's car parks be turned into a beautiful memorial garden for and by the remaining community for the world to visit and remind themselves of what should have never happened.
Although we are deep in the grieving process, I feel it necessary to raise this now, or we risk the site being forgotten and redeveloped, which would be a tragedy in itself.
Absolutely no commercial, residential or industrial development should be undertaken on this site, which has seen so much pain and suffering!
If this site was to be sold for private development, it would be an affront to the community, to humanity and all that is good in this world!
