Free Parking Motion put by councillors for discussion at Rotorua Council Meeting on 28th May

Two local councillors, Peter Bentley and Reynold Macpherson, have requested that the following motion be accepted and discussed at the next Council Meeting on the 28th May:
Motion: That Rotorua Lakes Council make parking free in the CBD to support local businesses.
We'll keep you updated as soon as the Motion is confirmed to be on the Agenda for the 28th. Hopefully, the public will not be excluded from the meeting and we can gather a large group of businesses and locals to attend. The councillors have asked that I be invited to speak to the petition.
In the meantime, please keep sharing the petition and help get more signatories. We are currently at 2,400+. Would be great to get to 5,000 by the 28th!
Thanks for your help
