The Banana Republican Party (BRP) was started in 2016 in order to reflect the shifting ideologies in US politics.  The BRP went on to push the GOP further in their ideas, strategies, and actions, playing no small part in their eventual electoral college victory, as well as the current success of the USA’s national and international policies. Having outperformed all expectations,  GOP should now take over the BRP name in order to more accurately reflect their policies.
We, the undersigned, hereby petition the RNC under your chairmanship to have the Republican Party change its name from Republican Party to “Banana Republican Party.”
