Tonight 5/25 at 7:30 p.m. 12 candidates for DC Council will join WUSA9's Ariane Datil who will moderate a Cultural Equity Forum on our FB Livestream. As go-go artists pointed out in a May 6 open letter to elected DC officials, the city has a lot of work to do to achieve equity. Next week, join Don't Mute DC's conversation with Ta-Nehisi Coates on his groundbreaking oral history of Go-Go he published 20 years ago. Finally, we can't wait to see TV One's documentary on go-go that will premiere on June 21. The title is "The Beat Don't Stop." YUP!
