Thanks to the First Ladies of Go-Go: Ms. Kim, KK, Maisha Rashad, Kacey Williams, Chrystian B., and Michelle Blackwell, who cranked the Eaton Rooftop so hard for the kickoff of #DontMuteDC meets #DontMuteNola last night. Tickets are sold out for tonight's Mumbo v. Gumbo barbecue and band battle. But there are still a limited number of tickets available for Sunday evening's "Sound of Chocolate Cities"  discussion and performance at the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture. Scholars from DC, Atlanta and New Orleans will speak on a panel, and it will be followed by a live performance by Backyard Band.
