We the residents of Bywater and Marigny  support the application of the Port of New Orleans and the New Orleans Public Belt for Federal funding to create an additional railroad interchange at Florida Avenue. We have ongoing concerns about traffic blockage, horn noise, and safety with the current interchange that regularly blocks Homer Plessy/ (Press Street) during rush hour and also causes problems with train horns during all hours of the night.
