The white line in this picture is attached to a Ocean Boats anchor . That anchor is dug into a under water cave ledge very close to the Ichetucknee's bank . You can see clearly how Shallow the water is above this underwater cave . Pay attention to how there is no vegetation on the banks also , where is the vegetation that was there , see how the water is so mucky ? This is happening throughout the remaining Ichetucknee which contains hundreds of small Spring sheds in it's waters run .The Ichetucknee spring run flows so no vessels can just sit in one spot, so they must use an anchor to stay in place. There are hundreds doing so all at once every weekend, Holidays , and many throughout the week. Resulting in damaging these spring sheds, and vegetation further more aquatic Life . Water is Life.
