​Every day, Australia throws away over 10 million straws. That is over 42,000 kg of plastic just in straws. It is calculated by the peer-reviewed Journal Science Advances, that by 2050 there will be 12 million kg of plastic waste in our landfills, which is the equivalent of 1.5 billion elephants. Our planet is being destroyed and ruined by our own foolish ignorance to recognize the fact that we throw away so much harmful rubbish. It is our aim to help make a little difference to all this, one simple signature could help change the future for our Australian environment.
