Inching along

The village has lifted the ban on escooters for those 18 and over. Currently, that age limit is set by the state so the village cannot lower it. So a small victory at the moment. 

I'd like to thank everyone for their support and for the Trustees that helped push this forward on the agenda.

A new state law will be passed in January so we may still see changed happen next year. 

Currently the village enforcement on the use of micromobility devices is on safe use. Reckless riding is what they are trying to eliminate.

For now this is a small victory. I'm hoping to move this forward with our State Reps and coordinate with other organizations that are lobbying for e bikes.
