Here too are some additional ways in which local signatories in particular can help to influence our elected representatives to see sense and seek alternative ways of making a successful and thriving community farm in Newham.

- email/ write to a) Mayor Fiaz b) Cabinet Member for Regeneration James Asser, c) Custom House and Beckton Ward Councillors, d) MP Lyn Brown within whose constituency the farm lies and e) MP Stephen Timms, Patron of the farm, who we know is a supporter of the community initiative to keep the farm f) Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London whose office is soon to relocate to just down the road from the farm site
- submit a complaint via the Newham Council website e.g. closure without informing and consulting the community 

- submit a question 6+ days before a Council meeting e.g. What is the reason for closing the farm? Why were schools and community groups not consulted about the closure of the farm? Etc. 
- print and display posters (attached) in your windows, cars, places of work, worship, community organisations, schools 

- mobilise your children’s schools to be involved in the campaign 

- send us information and ideas about funding and sponsorship #savenewhamcityfarm

- take your views to ward surgeries once they resume (Covid measures?)

- contact the media - Local and national media have already reported on the issue.
