The Toronto Blue Jays were closer than they have been in 2015 to becoming the World Series Champions, since 1993. How, you may ask? It's all due to great management and decisions from Alex Anthopoulos and his team, but most importantly from the Toronto Blue Jays players themselves.

Unfortunately, we have already lost a number of well deserved and successful players who assisted our team on bringing us as far as we made it, in the championship playoffs, and Rogers as well as Mark Shapiro and his staff are all risking our opportunity to advance further than where our Blue Jays team left their marker in the playoffs, by ridding more of our star players, specifically, Jose Bautista.

This petition is created to show not only our nations support behind Jose Bautista, but also for our Toronto Blue Jays. They got as far as they did because of our support and willingness to attend their games, buy their merchandise, and all of the hope and faith we provided the Jays in believing that they can do it, this year is our year, they will make history. With that, they did. 
If we lose yet another player, who knows how far we will make it in the playoffs? If we make it at all. Although Jose is pushing through 36 in October, he has succeeded in a lot more throughout his years than several other players whom are his age, yet alone accomplished a lot more than others.

Jose Bautista is a 6 (yes, SIX) time All-Star, two time MLB Home Run Leader, two time Hank Aaron Award winner, and a three time Silver Slugger Award winner, and most importantly, a leader and role model in the Toronto Blue Jays organization and to all Blue Jays fans, he is one of the greatest players to wear a Blue Jay uniform and he deserves to finish his career AS a Toronto Blue Jay.

LET'S KEEP BAUTISTA, HELP HIM STAY, SHOW HIM, AND THE BLUE JAYS AS A NATION THAT WE WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, THIS IS OUR TEAM!

If Rogers is not willing to pay, to keep a well respected and successful Blue Jay member, we as a nation should prove our faith and willingness to see our team succeed by removing all contracts and agreements with Rogers Communications!
