I wanna start by saying thank you to everyone who has signed...

As of writing this, we are only two signatures away from our second goal; but as I said the first time: this still won't be enough to sway Rockstar's mind.  We're talking about an enormous company worth millions upon millions of dollars.  However, their size shouldn't dictate the gameplay that we are stuck with.  If we aren't going to get a new game then they should at least make actual improvements upon the one that's out now!

So what do we do now?

Now, is more important than ever that we continue to spread the word that we are unhappy with this latest update and want change to be made.  In addition to sharing this petition I would highly recommend going to https://www.rockstargames.com/GTAOnline/feedback and leaving a suggestion saying that you want the island to be in free mode!  Tell them that this petition exists and that the numbers for those who support it continue to grow.  If you don't want to type a message out, I'll give you one that you can simply copy and paste:

Send this to Rockstar:

"I feel that the new update has a lot of potential, but it was kind of ruined for me knowing that I won't be able to simply fly over to the island with my friends and explore something entirely new at my own pace.  Rather, I have to jump through a series of hoops in order to see only the bits and pieces that are made available to me through the heist.  Then, in beating the heist I still don't get to leave the beach?  That's crazy.  The island should totally be in free mode!  It would open up the online experience to a plethora of new experiences."

and finally...

Thank you once again and please continue to share this petition with anyone you know who plays GTA Online and may not be fully satisfied with this update.
