Emerson Lake and Palmer have been eligible for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since 1995, yet have never been nominated in spite of their incredible talent and significance in rock music history!  They were 3 classically trained musicians who took rock to a whole new level by helping create "prog rock" thanks to Keith Emerson's massive keyboarding/moog contributions, Greg Lake's unforgettable vocals, acoustical guitar and bass, and Carl Palmer's out-of-this-world drumming/percussion.  This band sold 48+ million records, played non-stop for many years to sold out arenas, and influenced many, many future musicians.  And their music is STILL being listened to, almost FIFTY (50) years after they first formed (1970)!   Yet, other less artistically talented or known artists have been inducted into the Hall ahead of ELP, thanks to 2, 3, even 4 nominations!!!!  It's time for this to change and get ELP nominated this year, then voted, into R&RHOF.  LET'S DO THIS!!!
