Rochester City Council, investigate the benefits of organized garbage & recycling services

The Issue

Rochester, MN will continue to struggle with its identity as a world class city as long as there are council members pandering to businesses rather than citizens. Our current infrastructure cannot handle the projected DMC traffic increase, let alone the half dozen or more waste management truck fleets.

We're calling on the Rochester City Council to listen to their constituents and vote YES to joining the ranks of more than 72 percent of cities nationwide that have implemented organized garbage and recycling services.

The program would reduce the number of garbage trucks on collection day, mitigate air and noise pollution, minimize the wear and tear on roadways and save each household money.
